I was so excited when Shawna emailed me and told me that her and Justin wanted to book me to photograph their wedding.  We had been emailing for a week or two discussing her wedding as well as mine and comparing vendors.  Shawna and Justin were married at Amber Springs which is a sister site to my wedding venue, Crystal Springs.  That meant that we had a lot to talk about, compare and exchange wedding planning stories.  It’s so great being able to bond with my clients now not only from a photographer to bride perspective but from a bride to bride perspective as well.  🙂

Stephanie Lynn Events did a wonderful job setting everything up and making sure the day flowed smoothly.

The first dance is always one of my favorite parts of the day.

Cakes by Gina outdid herself with these beautiful cakes!  Sierra Madre catered the evening and was responsible for some delicious food!

We waited to take some more portraits until later in the evening as the sun was setting.  It was cooler then too!  Nobody wants to mess with Texas heat in the middle of July!  😉
